This is a weekend for participants to improve their understanding of the existential crisis we face related to climate change, we will explore emerging technologies (i.e., other ways of meeting energy needs), and the local Off Shore Wind (OSW) projects proposed for this region of Indian Country. Presentations and hosted discussions via Elders, cultural practitioners, Native professionals, developing professionals (our students), & supportive specialists will have a stage for this indigenous truth telling event. This event will provide the opportunity to myth bust in all directions regarding what we know, what we don't know, and what we need to know to make wise decisions regarding how we deal with the existential crisis of climate change.
