You traveled home today Old one
Do you hear the Call
Did you listen to the medowlark,
The rustle of the earth?
Your tracks were light through sweet,
young grass. Foot steps on the silvery dew.
Did you sit on the rock by the rivers edge and remember the song?
I saw you climb the high place and sit upon the earth amid the morning sun. You listened.
A vision of young manhood as you traveled the rivers course on last time, you listened.
