Program Assistant II = $12.75-$14.25 per hour
Program Assistant III = $14.25-$16.00 per hour

2015 Inter Tribal Gathering Thanks

Gift Shop Attendant (Part-time)

Description:
Gift shop attendant will be provided basic training in sales, merchandising, display creation, customer service, online sales, purchasing and receiving.

Wage:
$9.00 an hour

Qualifications:

·      Highly motivated

·      Great people skills

·      Flexible schedule and must be able to work Saturdays

This is a training position and applicant must be deemed eligible under the WIOA (Workforce Investment Opportunities Act) before applying.  Need to be of Tribal or Native American descent.

Eureka, CA July 13, 2015: The American Indian Art & Gift Shop’s August 2015 featured artist will be Ellen Poitras. Ellen is of Lakota and Chippewa descent. Ellen is a maker of Native American style beadwork, jewelry and fiber arts.

The NCIDC American Indian Art & Gift Shop is an American Indian Art and Craft Board certified shop. This certification means we guarantee every handmade item as crafted by a Native American artisan. Stop on by and enjoy our unique selection of authentic Native American items.

 

We will be open until 9 p.m. on August 1st during Arts Alive. Refreshments will be offered and we hope you stop by our new location at: 517 5th Street.

Pauli Carroll

Eureka, CA June 6, 2015:  This month, the American Indian Art & Gift Shop featured artist will be Pauli Carroll.  Pauli is a Yurok tribal member, and is also a Hupa and Cherokee descendent.  One of her mediums of work is glass. She will be showing her beautiful glass plates, beads and jewelry in our shop during this upcoming June Arts Alive.
