Currently NCIDC administrates the Lower Klamath River Watershed
Enhancement Program, a two year project funded by the California
State Coastal Conservancy, with supplemental funding from the
Administration for Native Americans (ANA) and the EDA. NCIDC,
the Yurok Tribe, Simpson Timber Company and the Coastal Conservancy
are working to develop a resource enhancement planning program
for the Klamath River sub-basin, a prescriptive analysis of all
24 tributaries of the Yurok Reservation. The restoration plan
will be the Yurok Tribe's plan and most importantly will determine
restoration priorities as a basis for continuing funding.
